Lead Flow Max / Signal-based prospecting

Signal-based prospecting

Write to companies the week they raise, not the month after.

Lead Flow Max tracks new funding rounds filed with the SEC, finds the person who signed the filing, and looks up their work email. You get a list of companies with a real reason to hear from you, and you approve every email before it sends.

One month free. No card. Every email approved by you before it sends.

Why most prospecting lists go cold

A static list tells you who could buy. It can't tell you who just got the budget to.

01

No reason to write today

Without a trigger, the email lands on a random Tuesday. The reader can tell, and so can their inbox.

02

Signals found too late

By the time a funding round shows up in a newsletter, five competitors have already written.

03

Research eats the day

Finding the filing, the right person and a working email address by hand takes longer than writing the email.

How signal-based prospecting works in Lead Flow Max

  1. Track new roundsNew SEC Form D filings, where US private companies report money they've raised, are checked several times every weekday.
  2. Filter out the noiseInvestment funds and other vehicles that aren't operating companies are screened out, and amendments are skipped.
  3. Find the personThe executive named on the filing, usually the person who signed it, becomes your contact.
  4. Check the emailTheir work email is looked up and marked verified or inferred, so you know how safe it is to send.
  5. Approve, then sendYou write or approve the campaign's emails, and nothing sends until you have. Approved emails go out from your own inbox.

What comes with every lead

  • The round: amount raised and the date it was filed.
  • The industry the company reported, so you can keep to your market.
  • A named executive, not a generic info@ address.
  • Email confidence: verified addresses are marked apart from inferred ones.
  • Fresh every week: a company's next round counts as a new signal.
  • Nothing automatic: leads fill your list, they never send on their own.

Questions people ask

What is signal-based prospecting?

It's outreach triggered by something that just happened at a company, like a new funding round, rather than by a calendar. The signal gives you a timely, specific reason to write, which is what makes cold email worth reading.

Where do the funding signals come from?

From SEC Form D filings. When a US private company raises money under the most common exemptions, it files a Form D listing the amount and its executives. Lead Flow Max reads new filings several times each weekday.

How do I get a signal-based list?

In your workspace, choose "Find leads for me". The PPIT team builds the list from new funding rounds that match your market, with contacts and checked emails.

Do I still choose who gets emailed?

Yes. A list is just a list. You decide who goes into a campaign, and nothing sends until you've approved the emails.
